WILKE Pickett's Charge

The burleys provide plenty of earth, wood, nuts, some sharp sourness, toast, sugar, a little cocoa, spice, pine, vegetation and a hint of molasses as the lead components. The perique offers earth, wood, some dried plums, raisins, floralness and spice in a secondary support role. The strength is medium.

WILKE Pickett's Charge

  • Full disclosure: this blend was my idea as I was wanting a milder version of Wall Street with less perique. The nic-hit is a step below that mark. The taste is a notch above the medium mark. It won’t bite or get harsh. Has a few rough edges. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable rate with a very consistent nutty, spicy, floral, rugged, mildly sweet, savory flavor that extends to the mildly lingering, pleasant after taste. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Has a nutty, mildly spicy room note that’s fairly pleasant. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Can be an all day smoke.
